In an effort to reassure his father, Keith shared that God
still had a mission for him—one that involved someone in the
family. Although his father didn’t fully understand how this would
ease his fear of God’s judgment, it brought him some comfort. After
the transplant surgery, Keith’s father returned home feeling better
and was no longer dependent on dialysis, though he had to
manage a regimen of medications. Ten years later, after his kidney
transplant in 2004, the moment arrived for Keith’s father to fulfill the
mission Keith had shared with him a decade earlier. In late 2014,
little did Keith realize that he was the one God had chosen in the
family to fulfill his father’s mission to help carry the legacy of the
family.
After Keith stepped away from his business for seven
years from, 2007 to 2014, to follow Christ and fulfill the promise
God had placed in his heart, he and his wife, Tracy, along with their
five children, found themselves facing a major financial crisis with
no clear solution in sight. After the loss of their home and the
collapse of their business, Keith endured shame and criticism for
his decisions. In his darkest moments, when others chose not to
help, Keith’s father stood by him both spiritually and financially,
remaining by his side through it all. His father’s love, trust, and faith
in him became the foundation of Keith’s strength, guiding him to
continue the work that God had promised to fulfill. What once
seemed impossible to overcome, Keith felt certain that God’s
presence and love flowing through his father would provide him
with everything he needed to move forward. Keith’s father’s divine
love transformed not only Keith but also his wife and children,
fulfilling a profound desire within him, particularly after being an
