Spirit. It is this love that calls all people to the New Evangelization,
inspiring them to share the Gospel with renewed passion and ardor.

Amidst this moment of grace, Keith was deeply moved by
the profound presence of his late father, Tam Hoang. He could feel
his father’s spirit with him, reassuring him that everything would be
okay. Overcome with emotion, Keith found himself unable to hold
back tears as he experienced the overwhelming love of his father
flowing through him, illuminated by the power of the Holy Spirit. In
that sacred instance, he offered profound gratitude to God for
blessing him with a father who had instilled in him an unshakable
faith and awareness of God’s love and presence.

Memories of his father’s steadfast support flooded Keith’s
mind—his father had stood by him during his greatest trials,
believing in him even in times of spiritual and financial hardship.
Although his father was unable to continue Keith’s grandfather’s
legacy after the family immigrated to the United States in 1975,
Keith understood that his father’s true legacy was not one of
material inheritance but of faith. Through his father’s love and
guidance, Keith’s own faith deepened in ways he could never have
achieved on his own. His father’s consistent reminders to approach
all things with a pure heart, to serve the poor, and to care for the
sick became the foundation of Keith’s mission. Now, in honor of his
father’s enduring influence, Bishop Vann, Father Bao, and Keith
plan to return next year to complete another building next to the
parish center, dedicating it as a tribute to his father, Tam Hoang.

Upon returning to the United States, Keith devoted himself
to writing music for the BFG Handbook. In 2007, when he accepted
