before. The community of Phuong Duc Church in the Diocese of
Bùi Chu, situated in Nam Dinh, welcomed them back with immense
excitement and heartfelt gratitude. The previous year, Bishop Vann
had committed to supporting the construction of a new pastoral
center, and now he was back to review the blueprints presented by
the church council. After carefully considering the plans, he
approved the construction of a three-story pastoral center. In a
further expression of his commitment, the bishop also promised to
support the reconstruction of Trieu Thong Catholic Church, also
located in the Diocese of Bùi Chu.
For Keith, the moment was filled with immense joy and a
profound sense of connection to his ancestors, whose faith had
inspired the original construction of both churches. The bishop’s
promise to help complete these projects resonated deeply with
Keith, affirming the enduring legacy of faith in his family. Keith felt a
deep affirmation that the love of God would flow through the people
of this land, spreading to all nations like rivers and streams.
Keith had the opportunity to meet with the Catholic leaders
of each region in Vietnam to share his vision for the BFG
movement. Among those he met were Cardinal Pierre Nguyễn Văn
Nhơn and Archbishop Joseph Vũ Văn Thiên of Hanoi in Northern
Vietnam, Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh of Huế in Central
Vietnam, Bishop Joseph Ðặng Ðức Ngân of Da Nang in Central
Vietnam, and Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Năng of Ho Chi Minh City
in Southern Vietnam. Keith presented each of these leaders with a
copy of his BFG Handbook. To ensure the development of the BFG
Handbook resonated with church leaders and their congregations,
