Seminary, Dr. Michael Downey, who played a pivotal role in helping
him achieve top honors, also connected to Keith. In 2009, Keith met
with Dr. Downey to discuss his BFG manuscript. Dr. Downey,
recognizing the manuscript's potential global impact, encouraged
Keith to persist with his work, recognizing its global significance.

This divine alignment is echoed in the scriptures: “For the
vision is for the appointed time; it will speak of the end, and it will
not lie. If it delays, wait for it; it will surely come before too long”
(Habakkuk 2:3) and “For everything there is a season, and a time
for every matter under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

In an extraordinary turn of events, Keith connected with Fr.
Bao in 2022, nearly fifteen years later. This union was a pivotal
moment orchestrated by divine intervention, as it allowed Fr. Bao to
play a key role in facilitating a significant part of Keith’s journey.
Specifically, Fr. Bao assisted Bishop Kevin W. Vann in organizing
Keith’s visit to his ancestral homeland in Nam Dinh, where Keith
was formally adopted by Bishop Vann as his Spiritual Son. This
adoption was not just a symbolic gesture but a crucial step in
advancing God’s plan. It underscored the deep spiritual connection
and commitment to fulfilling the divine mission that Keith had been
entrusted with. Through Fr. Bao’s support, the visit to Nam Dinh
and the adoption became essential milestones, furthering the
realization of God’s purpose for him to restore the truth of our faith
for the New Evangelization.
