Understanding God

My words are easy to understand and easy to follow
Yet, the world does not understand and does not follow

My words are from the beginning of time
My actions come from the One who sent me

If people do not know this, they do not know me

Those who understand me are few
But it does not lessen my worth
Though the Son of God wears the rough clothes of a servant
