through his father, offering him a sense of security during a time
when others turned away, fearing the financial burden of helping
him. Every morning, Keith would wake up, express his gratitude to
God for His love, and embrace the simple blessing of a new day
with joy.
His father stopped by nearly every day, making sure Keith
had enough food and checking in on his well-being. Concerned
about the stress Keith faced, he often measured his son’s blood
pressure, fearing the strain might take a toll on his health. Yet,
every time his father asked, “How are you doing?” Keith would
respond, “If I am breathing, I am good.”
Keith was grateful for having a father who loved him
unconditionally, even when others criticized his choices and were
ashamed of him for decisions they couldn't understand. When his
father expressed his trust in him—despite not fully understanding
his chosen path in life—it became one of the most powerful
affirmations Keith could receive. This trust empowered him,
deepening his belief that his father’s love mirrored God’s love. It
was the one thing Keith had longed for, to have at least one person
believe in him when no one else did. His father was always ready to
provide support. Although he didn’t have much money, he
generously offered what little he could, helping the family through
those challenging months. He often stayed late into the night,
assisting with moving and organizing around the office, determined
not to leave until Keith had finished his work.
With God’s grace, Keith found the strength to rebuild his
business, even as his heart continued to long for Jesus amid
