Chapter 3
Renewal

a
If we do not regard powerful men highly
People will not fight for power
b
If we do not value rare goods
People will not become thieves
c
If we display desirable things
We bring confusion in our hearts

d
Thus, one who is with the Spirit leads by:
Clearing our minds under the law
And renewing our hearts under grace
Weakening our selfish ambition
e
And strengthening our core with love

The Spirit steers us away from our desires f
So those who cleverly scheme have no power over us

Be still
And everything will be in order
