nearly consumed my normal life for five years. I pray that in reading
it, you too will be drawn closer to God—for when we are One with
God in Spirit, we are truly Built For Greatness. Amen!

            My Journey

I am a father of 5 beautiful children married to a very
supportive wife, Tracy. I immigrated to the United States in 1975
from Vietnam and currently live in Los Angeles, California. My call
to serve God started in 1999, but it was in 2007 when our Holy
Mother Mary appeared to me with a clear message. I surrendered
and found myself praying the rosary and asking for forgiveness. I
heard the voice of Mary calling me to St. Vincent de Paul Church in
downtown Los Angeles where I met Richard, a homeless man who
taught me the Bible for three months. His understanding of the
Bible is beyond mystical, but even greater is Richard’s love for our
Holy Mother Mary. After our last meeting, I was inspired to create a
Christian version of the Tao Te Ching and sent a manuscript to Dr.
Michael Downey, a professor at St. John Seminary and the editor of
the award-winning The New Dictionary of Catholic Spirituality. He
shared with me the importance of such a book, especially in China.
In 2012, I completed a first Christian version of the Tao Te
Ching. God promised to call His faithful representative of the
Catholic Church to help me send His message written in the book
to the world. An almost miraculous intervention led me to meet
Archbishop Emeritus Sylvain Lavoie OMI who accepted to help me
promote the book, and eventually became co-author. He shared
with me the journey in my life is very much like the book of Job. It
wasn’t until February 2017, we met Archbishop José H. Gómez and
Fr. Brian Nunes (secretary of the LA Archdiocese to Archbishop
